From the heart of the Champagne region in France, Ayala, one of the oldest champagne houses, presents their signature cuvée, Brut Majeur. With a rich history dating back to 1860, Ayala's expertise in crafting exceptional champagnes is evident in every bottle.
Brut Majeur is a perfect blend of over 70 crus from all across the Champagne region, including Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, Aube, Vitryat, and Sézannais. This diverse sourcing allows for a rich expression of the region's unique terroirs.
In the production process, each cru, grape variety, and year is carefully vinified in individual stainless-steel vats. This meticulous process preserves the integrity and personality of each cru, resulting in a blend that showcases extraordinary diversity.
Unlike many non-vintage champagnes, Brut Majeur features a significant proportion of Chardonnay, lending to its elegance and crisp style. The blend is completed by Pinot Noir, contributing body and structure, and Pinot Meunier, adding floral and fruity notes.
Brut Majeur presents a pale gold hue and a steady stream of fine bubbles. It captivates with fresh and lively aromas of citrus and white flowers, complemented by hints of green apple, pear, and subtle toastiness. On the palate, it is well-balanced, offering a harmonious blend of fruit, acidity, and a hint of minerality. The finish is long, clean, and characterized by its elegance and freshness.
