Le Blanc de Blancs is a pure expression of Chardonnay grapes. This white from whites style is lauded for its elegance and the unique character it lends to the wine.
The wine is made selectively during years when the grapes are most expressive. The Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, particularly from three Grands Crus regions, forms the backbone of this blend. The grapes from these regions are known for their excellent aging potential.
Chouilly, the house's own vineyard, contributes a silky texture, freshness, and a variety of aromas to the cuvée. Le Mesnil-sur-Oger adds precision and aging capacity, harmonizing perfectly with the chalky minerality of Cramant. This signature blend is further enhanced by a selection of exceptional Premiers Crus.
Le Blanc de Blancs stands out with its pure and creamy style, making it a true tribute to Chardonnay. The cuvée is a hallmark of the house.
The wine matures for 6 years on lees in a special bottle, which enhances the organoleptic profile. The nose reveals fresh and lively aromas of citrus fruits, green apple, white flowers, and hints of brioche or almond, a testament to the lees aging. On the palate, the wine is crisp and precise, beautifully balancing fruit, minerality, and vibrant acidity. The finish is long and clean, leaving behind traces of citrus and minerality.
