Boroli Barolo Brunella is a premium red wine produced in the Piedmont region of Italy, more specifically in the Barolo appellation which is renowned for its robust and complex Nebbiolo-based wines. The 2016 vintage is particularly noteworthy given that 2016 is considered an excellent year for Barolo.

Brunella is a remarkable monopole single-vineyard cru belonging solely to the Boroli family. The vineyard is in the territory of Castiglione Falletto, situated at the extreme western point of the ridge of Villero. The exposure is South and South-West and soil is clayey and calcareous.

The Boroli Barolo Brunella 2016 is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, which are hand harvested and undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 18 months in large oak barrels (1.000-1.500 L), followed by a minimum of 12 months in the bottle before being released to the market.

Brunella 2016 exhibits classic Nebbiolo characteristics. A haunting nose of fresh berries and hints of licorice. Harmonious flavors of mocha and fresh cloves blend in a persistent, velvety mouthfeel where oak brings a balanced structure. Boroli Barolo Brunella embodies finesse and elegance and is an invitation to come back to your glass again and again as it releases its perfumes.
