Arzuaga Reserva is a premium red wine produced by Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro in the renowned Ribera del Duero region of Spain. Arzuaga is particularly respected for the care they take in the vineyards and their commitment to expressing the terroir in their wines.

The "Reserva" on the label of Arzuaga Reserva indicates that the wine has undergone a specific period of aging before release, according to the regulations of the Ribera del Duero Denominación de Origen (DO). For a red wine in this region to be classified as a Reserva, it must be aged for a minimum of three years, with at least one year in oak barrels.

Arzuaga Reserva is made predominantly from Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) grapes, which thrive in the harsh climate and high altitudes of Ribera del Duero. The Reserva often also include small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, adding complexity and depth to the final blend. The blend changes from year to year in order to reach the highest quality and taste possible.

In terms of flavor and aroma profiles, Arzuaga Reserva is known for its powerful and complex character. It presents a deep, intense red color. On the nose, a bouquet of black fruits, such as blackberries and plums, coupled with toasty and spicy notes from the oak aging, and hints of cocoa, tobacco, and leather. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied, with rich, ripe fruit flavors balanced by well-integrated tannins and a good acidity. The finish is long and elegant.

Arzuaga Reserva is a wine that pairs well with a variety of foods, particularly robust meat dishes, game, and mature cheeses. It also has excellent aging potential and can evolve and develop further complexity with additional years in the bottle.
