Ayala Rosé Majeur is an elegant and stylish rosé Champagne produced by Champagne Ayala, one of the longest-standing champagne houses based in Aÿ, in the heart of the Champagne region in France. The house has a reputation for its fresh and elegant wines, and Rosé Majeur is no exception.

Rosé Majeur embodies the refinement of Ayala champagnes. Chardonnay, the emblematic grape variety of the House, for the most part, brings freshness and finesse to this blended rosé, composed of 24 exceptional crus.

When it comes to blending and vinification, nothing is left to chance. The Pinots Noirs, originating from the best crus on the Montagne de Reims, are handled here with emphasis on fruit rather than structure.

Rosé Majeur is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, with a small amount of still red wine made from Pinot Noir added to the blend to achieve its rosé color and to enhance the wine's fruity character. The Chardonnay, usually taking up more than 50% of the blend, brings freshness and elegance, the hallmark of Ayala's style.

In the glass, Ayala Rosé Majeur displays a delicate pink color with fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose, it offers a bouquet of fresh red fruits; strawberries and raspberries, alongside floral notes such as rose petals, and a hint of spice. On the palate, the Champagne is known for its crisp acidity, delicate fruit flavors, and a touch of minerality, all underpinned by a satisfying structure and balance. The finish is long, refreshing, and wonderfully dry.

Rosé Majeur pairs beautifully with a range of foods. It can be served as an aperitif, but also matches well with a variety of dishes including salmon fillet, pink lamb chops, or even fruit-based desserts.
