Boroli Barolo 2016 is a red wine produced in the Barolo DOCG of Italy's Piedmont region, an area renowned for its powerful and complex Nebbiolo-based wines. The Boroli family, under the leadership of Achille Boroli and his family, is dedicated to sustainable viticulture and the production of expressive, high-quality wines.

The year 2016 is considered a standout vintage for Barolo, with ideal weather conditions leading to excellent ripening of the Nebbiolo grapes. This translates to high quality and excellent potential for aging in the Boroli Barolo 2016.

The Boroli Barolo 2016 is made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, which are hand-harvested and carefully sorted. The grapes undergo fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. The wine then ages in these barrels for 18 months, followed by a minimum of 12 additional months in the bottle prior to release.

The wine has a bright red colour. The nose is redolent of fresh wild berries and sweet licorice. On the palate, velvety tannins make Boroli Barolo DOCG the classic expression of Barolo in its balanced conversation between structure and elegance.
