Located in the beautiful territory of Petrolo, this wine estate is harmoniously balanced with nature and the meticulous labor of mankind. The estate has been producing exceptional wines and premium olive oil since time immemorial. Petrolo's vineyards sprawl across 31 hectares in the DOC Val d' Arno di Sopra appellation, bordering the southeastern area of Chianti Classico. The vineyards reside at an altitude between 250 and 450 meters above sea level, thriving on moderately loose-packed soil with diverse rock mixtures such as marl, sandstone, and shale typical of the Chianti region. With approximately 5500 plants per hectare, these vineyards are carefully managed to produce a very low yield of around 20-25 Hl per hectare, resulting in a total of 650-700 Hl of wine. The soil composition, altitude, and exposure are among the key elements that contribute to the distinctive character of the wines from Petrolo. The rest is a symphony of passion and the ability to learn from the earth's daily teachings, resulting in wines that truly embody the spirit of Petrolo.
